Minor Travel Authorization

If my under aged child will travel with his aunt, will he need a Migration permit?

When an under aged child travels abroad without the company of his/her parents, a permit must be obtained from the General Migration Department. The parents must authorize an adult to accompany the child through a written statement, legalized by a Notary Public. With this statement and other necessary documents, the General Migration Department will issue a written authorization within 24 hours. Such permit expires in 30 days. If, however, the child will travel with one of the parents, the other parent must give the authorization through written statement legalized by Notary Public, duly stamped by the General Migration Department.
