Dominican Residence Renewal
Dominican Residence Renewal
The Permanent Dominican Residence must be renewed every 2 years from the date the permit was first granted. In order to carry out this procedure the applicant must complete an application form in addition to providing the original residence card and payment receipt for corresponding taxes. After verifying the request, the General Immigration Department will issue a new card valid for 2 more years.

For this process, eLexPersona.com provides a VIP service where the residence card will be renewed the same day the residence documents are deposited. If you are not in the Dominican Republic you will avoid the hassle of travelling to the country for only one day, unless the General Immigration Department does not have your picture in the electronic file.

“This service is only available to those individuals who register under the name and identity of the person who will be requesting the document or legal service.”
